Bernard Moseby

Commodore, Bernard Moseby

Bernard has been a member since 1986 and has served on the board since 2004. He races and cruises a San Juan 26, “Black Magic Super Sloop” that he had built in 1976 at New Bern, North Carolina. Gwendolyn, his wife of 38-years, is active in the Bay Gales. He has three married children, Nicole, Bernard II and Gisele. He has two grandsons, Michael and Gabriel. Bernard is the Chief of Economics for the Mobile/Savannah Districts and the Technical Director of the Deep Draft Navigation Planning Center of Expertise for the Army Corps of Engineers.

Vince Arbour

Vice Commodore, Vince Arbour

Vince has been club member since 2003 and a board member for number of years. He owns a Catalina 30, “Miss Print”, named for his wife, Kit, who now runs her family’s printing business. He has three sons, Sidney, Joseph and Jonathan. When not sailing, Vince is the Director of Technical Services at Baldwin County Mental Health Center, Inc. a corporation providing a full range of behavioral health services to Baldwin County residents.

Bill has been a member over 40 years. He was elected to the Board in the late 70’s and has served continuously since. Bill grew up sailing Fishboats and Flying Scots in GYA competition and crewing in star boats when the fleet was active on the bay. He is married to Betsy, has two grown sons, Chip & John, and is a lifelong resident on Dog River.

Brad has been a member of MYC since 1998 and is currently serving his third consecutive term as Recording Secretary. Brad is single and is the proud owner of an Ericson 36, “Moxie”. Brad is the Senior Electrical Engineer for Bender Shipbuilding & Repair in Mobile.
